Scientific fieldtrips to the hydrogeological sites of the carboniferous plateau (east of Leningrad region)

The unique natural hydrogeological sites of the eastern part of Leningrad region are described: the Urya-Kanzhaya river valley in the natural park the “Vepsian Forest” and karst valley of the river Ragusha. General geology and hydrogeology of the sites and results of hydrogeological investigation of the Department of Hydrogeology of St. Petersburg University are presented. Advice on the organization of scientific field trips for students on hydrogeology and other tourists are given. Refs 5. Figs 5. Tables 2.
