Abstract

From 1997 to 2004, at the stage of geological prospecting of the V. Grib diamond deposit (Verkhotina deposit, part of the Arkhangelsk diamond province), extensive investigations were conducted aimed at studying the hydrogeological conditions in this region and assessing changes in the hydrodynamic situation during the exploration of the diamond pipe. The article deals with the hydrogeological conditions of the deposit area and the main results of experimental-filtration works performed in the deposit during this period.
